Neck Lift in Monclair, NJ

Plastic Surgery Center Internationale performs neck lifts for residents of Monclair, NJ and surrounding areas.

What is a Neck Lift?

A neck lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is performed specifically for esthetic purposes to improve or enhance the overall appearance of a person’s neck. Usually, it is done when an individual is suffering the natural effects of aging and has excess skin or even deformities in the neck area. A neck lift can improve the shape and smoothness of the neck causing you to appear younger.

How is a Neck Lift Performed?

There are generally three types of procedures that can be used in a neck lift. These are the G- string neck lift, the suture suspension neck lift and the neck enhancement.

These are all minimally invasive procedures that involve the administration of a local anesthesia and then the doctor will make an incision under the chin and behind the ear. From there, the neck muscles will be pulled more tightly and sculpted, while excess fat and skin is removed.
